“New technology will make driving more comfortable and interesting” – said Raj Nair, vice president, responsible for the development of global products. The system consists of an electric motor and gear actuator; all mechanisms are mounted directly to the steering wheel. New reduces the amount of steering turns at low speeds, making it easy to maneuver when parking. At high speeds, the same number of turns increases steering, increasing the accuracy of control.
