Pimped Ford Fiesta ST on the stand in Geneva

Fiesta ST with 200-hp engine is a modified hot hatch, which debuted in Geneva. In fact, a full car code – ST200 reflects the power of the motor. The engineers installed 1.6-liter Quartet EcoBoost motor, which can generate 200-hp and 290 Nm of torque. Additional 15-hp and 30 Nm can be obtained in 15 seconds at overbust mode. As a result, the hot-hatch requires 6.7 seconds for the acceleration from zero to 100 km/h that is 0.2 seconds less than before. The maximum speed has increased from 220 to 230 km / h.

Ford carmakers have restyled not only the engine, but also other components and aggregates. For example, the steering ratio decreased to 13.69:1, drive ratio changed from 3.82:1 to 4.06:1, the front wheels received reinforced knuckles, torsion beam got an increased rear roll stiffness and spring and shock absorbers resets allowed to low Fiesta ST’s gravity center to 15 mm. ST200 hatchback was designed by new powerful brakes, rod vectoring and three-mode stabilization system.

Among visual design elements, there are a Storm Grey body, silver stitching and Recaro seats inside of the car, original 17-inch wheels, brake calipers in red and omnipresent ST nameplates.
